Fishing out of Carolina and Wrightsville Beach has been doing well. We’ve been catching everything from upper slot red fish, flounder, spanish and kings to name a few. The red fish and flounder are biting well on live menhaden and finger mullet. We’ve been catching around the docks of the ICW and The Cape Fear River, the best tides have been the falling tide. We have not been able to turn around some of these drag screamers. The off shore action has been on fire lately with spanish and a few kings mixed in, the spanish have been right outside the inlet catching them by trolling or site casting. Earlier this week I had Robert Riggs fishing with me and while drifting the Carolina Beach Inlet for flounder he managed to hook up with a 25lb cobia. You never know what you might catch!
