Water temps are in the 80s and the fishing has been great in the Carolina Beach area down to Bald Head Island. We have had some nice catches of Flounder, Speckled Trout and Red Drum using live baits on a Carolina Rigs. Live bait is still everywhere, and finger mullet is showing up. We’ve been catching Flounder all along the ICW and Carolina Beach Inlet.
Red Drum are finally showing up along the dock’s in the ICW and Carolina Beach Inlet with some nice sizes, remember you are only allowed one fish per person per day but what a fight they put on.
Right offshore the Spanish Mackerel are showing up in good numbers, what a blast to sight cast to. There have also been some nice King’s mixed in with the Spanish.
Shark fishing is here so if you want a fight they will be more than glad to give you one you won’t forget.
